Those who cannot opt to walk to their work due to great distances can simply walk to public transport instead. This provides for a much-needed break from pollution or spending money on gas. Keeping these points in mind, the Pedestrian Council of Australia also declared a National Walk to Work Day on November 13.

Always turn up at the advertised meeting point despite the worst weather. Run the walk if there is one person or more who wants to go on it - even if that does not include you! Arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes beforehand, and leave the meeting point between five and ten minutes after the advertised time.

Interval walking is alternating walking at an easy, steady pace with intense bursts of very fast walking or power walking. The intervals are meant to be hard, so they're quick — typically lasting 30 seconds to a minute or two. Switching back to a slower, easier pace gives you a break and helps you recover before starting the next interval.

10,000 steps are about 5 miles, or 8 km, give or take. Walked every day this is serious exercise — just not in a time frame that makes you sweat like crazy. Your legs will want rest. Let them rest. It’s also easier to walk more on a day that’s already high in steps than forcing yourself out of bed Sunday morning. Dancing really helps.

A non-advertised shortcut (Standard Shortcuts) is a standard windows shortcut. If you right-click it you will see the target field points to the executable that will be launched. If, for whatever reason, this executable is missing the application will simply fail.

When on charter, or if the owners are onboard, then the hours you work will differ. Unsociable hours are common when guests are onboard. Accommodation onboard.
